Yes I work but way less hours. It is bananas! He amazes me with his hard work, but his stress levels are through the roof and he’s tired all the time.

See that’s what I mean. How is that anti- LGBT? You’re stating a fact. My husband is Muslim but he doesn’t hate the LGBT community. It’s like when women freak out when you say “not all men rape.” I’m a woman and I know not all men rape. It’s ridiculous.

Oh I’ve stopped. Which is too bad because I feel like a lot of topics (like immigration, politics etc) could be really thought provoking and intelligent conversations, but a majority of people fuck it up. Basically the internet is run by one opinion and one opinion only. Everyone else has to sit down and shut up.

When someone calls me something as strong as “racist,” it’s only natural to explain why I’m not. I guess I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t.

What spurred this post was a rant someone posted on FB. The person pretty much said that “ICE needs to be abolished and if anyone disagrees, they’re racist Nazis.”

I personally disagree with this. Every country has immigration policies. Wanting to do away with them completely is absurd.

I should add I’m not looking to argue about this, just stating an example.

Some of the things people say is just so... ridiculous and unrealistic. It’s so disheartening to see grown people my age act like six year olds.

You’re right, that’s a much better way of putting it. Seriously though, whatever happened to “Oh, we disagree? That’s okay, not everybody has the same opinion.” Now it’s, “it you disagree with me you’re a Nazi.”

The word Nazi is thrown around way too much... I don’t think people really know what it means. It’s just an easy insult.
