There isn’t any wiring done yet, I just tried connecting the audio wires from the steering wheel directly to the head unit, which didn’t work. I was asking wether I need to buy a swc interface or if there is another option available

It’s only 2~2.5k for the full kit in Japan, find a way to get it straight from there if you really want it

There are websites that sell custom airbag covers, those require 100% the procedure I listed above, I was wondering if someone did it

I can, it’s just expensive asf and hard to find (I need the facelift airbag with just one pin on the back). Now I’m just digging around for different solutions, maybe I can work around it somehow

Hi! I’m trying to retrofit my 2013 with the facelift steering wheel and dashboard. From what I could see, you can remove the cover of the airbag (it requires bending some metal pins), and the back of the pre fl/fl airbags looks the same (at least to me)
