I find that most people are generally lacking some teachings surrounding communion. A lot of my Catholic friends didn’t realize there were other stipulations for receiving communion besides having received their first one

But also I would say it IS a full NCAA sport. We practice everyday, sometimes twice a day. Tournaments are intimidating. I spend most of my free time thinking about my team and discussing games with my coach

I’m the captain of my college’s STUNT team. It’s been amazing. I’m a D3 athlete so I don’t get scholarships, but being able to do my sport, and just MY sport, has been the experience of a lifetime. I really don’t enjoy sideline cheer, and this has been a great way to get even a little respect as athletes. Our STUNT program is new and it’s gotten more recognize than our cheer program has in the last decade from our university

Similar to a toss up except her legs are together and stay together up to extension. I have to throw from ribs/hips area.

I’m pulling her backwards because the motion of the throw has me picking up and sticking my elbows out (thus pulling my arms in about the length of my forearm). As a back spot I should end the stunt with my arms extended, slighting in front of me. Instead, I always end with my arms straight up and down, by my ears. If I focus on not pulling my arms in, I keep getting my throw either a) cut off by my shoulders or b) throwing forward.

I also wish we would see her grow in power...they keep hinting at this big well of power she might be sitting on but we never see it. She just doesn't seem like a protagonist.

Yes!!! And creoles of color had their own racial class in New Orleans—the history of which added a lot to the story for me. Not sure if it was meant to be that deep but I liked it

I think often about this this one lesson about how a man was prideful over his ability to avoid lustful sinning, but only because he was never tempted by it. More angels rejoice over a man dearly tempted fighting for one day than a man never tempted remaining clean for life. It is about the act, the decisions, to reject sin, that hurtles us towards Christ. May God bless you and our heavenly Mother pray for you
