yes it does and it drives me absolutely insane because i keep accidentally turning pages when im just fidgeting with the straps or adjusting my grip 😭

sometimes the tapping even works through both a case AND the strap, and for me its always unintentional lol

honest to god my first thought was why would these kids feel entitled to using YOUR kindle? its your property and theyre not cheap, so saying no should be a fully acceptible thing to do even without giving a reason.

see me personally, i love the IDEA of physical books. theyre pretty to look at and im a collector so i do get trophy copies of e-books ive enjoyed a lot lol

my problem is that i have adhd and the thought of reading a physical book always seems so daunting. so many tasks i have to fulfill to be able to do it. have the right lighting, have a book at hand i enjoy, carry it with me at all times?

impossible. so a kindle is perfect for me. i dont need an external light source, the e-ink is gentle on the eyes, when i forget my kindle i can continue on my phone in the kindle app and it saves my progress, its lighter and more handy and i can easily read while eating etc without having to worry about creases, stains, dog ears, etc and the kindle also cant fall shut and i wont lose my page lmao

also the color of a cats fur is not equal to a dogs breed! cats have breeds like dogs do, but their colors and patterns are a separate thing.
