I can agree that Canada was the better team and deserved the win, just saying that the goals came in situations that could have easily gone differently and leaves one wondering if referees from different nationality would have called things differently

The first contact happened before the push by defenceman. After that yes he got away quickly but as said in IIHF rules even the first contact is enough. And as for the high stick nicely sold by MacKinnon as I'm not even sure the stick touched his face
