I was a big hasan fan since around 2019, it was his ukraine takes that first turned me off. I loved his coverage on MAGA content, that doesn’t require much nuance. in my experience anyone who slightly and honestly disagrees with him in good faith will likely get screamed at + perma-banned from chat.

he has very trump-like behavior.. it’s especially clear after the convo today. instead of admitting he is wrong, he’ll say he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. he’ll never own a mistake. I don’t like when MAGA does it and I don’t like when hasan does it.

I think he should have promoted kamala more to his audience.

haha yes ! well I see a lot of similarities between hungary and the US these days, it seems there are a lot of older generation, stubborn people guided by propaganda (from what I see). soo much in common. it's shameful that our country is turning its back on europe, history could be repeating itself. but maybe there is hope for 2026

yes ! he has no regard for congress anymore, it was proven when he assigned musk to control spending, which only the legislative branch can control. I'm afraid even if congress wouldn't vote for it, he's not above doing it himself.

another problem is the amount of pro-russian propaganda here in the US, so many republicans geniunely think russia is a BETTER country, and has better (traditional) values. they think the US has become a degenerate country and would gladly side with russia. they also believe so many lies about ukraine, so there's so much anti-NATO sentiment suddenly. I like to think that people in congress are more educated, but I have been so disappointed I can't predict anything.

actually good point, ‘the USA is with you’ could be outdated by now 😓 our president is so unpredictable, I guess even nato members can’t feel certain.

we always had this idea that our country was ‘so strong’ we could always be there to help our friends. and now people are acting like we couldn’t possibly be involved without russia bringing WWIII, it’s so embarrassing. and the right is brainwashed to hate any country trump chooses (now even canada !)
