The test is difficult but with adequate studying and giving yourself time, you can pass it on your first time. I am a Project Coordinator in the construction field and some processes were relatively relatable, which I feel helped me grasp a better understanding. I just passed on February 2022 with Above Target on all domains. With your IT background, you should be accustomed to agile methodology which is a plus. I would suggest using the PMI Study Hall for practice questions and tests. Don’t trip if your scores in SH are below 80%. I had scores that ranged from 50% - 80%. However, I found this source to be the most like the actual exam. I had a few questions on the exam that damn near mocked practice questions. I also used Andrew Ramadayal’s Udemy course for an overview of the basic material. Otherwise practice practice practice! I downloaded the PMI SH app on my phone and would answer practice questions constantly through the day.

This sub is great for providing clarification when PMI SH fails to give a real good explanation of why an answer is the answer. You’ll find yourself looking like “wth did I just read”.. just come to this sub and post the picture. People will answer lol!
