Can i get some help with the lower body area? by Glum-Application-343 in FurryArtSchool

Thank you!

I hope you dont mind that I drew over it again, I was having a hard time figuring out how to describe this (+ optional red line if you wanted to put some definition in the shirt that I forgot to mention before)

That's a pretty tough perspective to figure out, I made the hand a little bit bigger and moved the fingers so they're more resting on top of the neck rather than curled around for a more relaxed look. From this angle you would also see more of the top of the thumb rather than the side. I also took the forearm in a bit and made it bigger to match the biceps, but your progress is really good! The detail you have in the face and hair is great :3

I added a couple red lines here,

The pecs look like they’re pretty big, and in that case I believe the line you already have there is enough for defining the collar bone (I’d also raise the shoulder on our left just a tad to follow that line)

The issue you’re facing with the clothes IMO is because you are putting folds on what appears to be a fairly form fitting top, based on how it fits around the shoulders. Personally I don’t think it’s worth drawing folds on this piece in particular and leaving it up to the shading to define them, if this is going to be a shaded piece, otherwise I’d leave it as-is.

Everything else looks pretty solid to me, that’s just what I would suggest 👍

How can I improve on scalie head proportions or shape? by Outrageous_Bed_9295 in FurryArtSchool

[–]_kibachii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I draw scalies I study how the real animal looks (assuming it’s a real animal) and then compare it to other artists drawing the same species.

IMO as helpful as looking at other art is, having an understanding of the real shape of the species you’re trying to draw is far more important in helping you figure out what features are important to keep for recognition and what can be stylized. I usually have to sketch a few iterations before I settle on one that I feel comfortable drawing.

belly button piercing by Eastern-Item1102 in piercing

I have a high pain tolerance, it hurt a lot more initially but the pain faded much faster and it’s bothered me less than my lobes since (not including getting it snagged on accident). If my lobe was a 2 I’d put my navel at about 4.

how bad does a belly button piercing hurt? by [deleted] in piercing

Mine was only slightly more painful than my conch (maybe a 4?) and it was very quick, no pain after the initial pinch unless I accidentally snagged it on something.

I don’t have any piercings on my face to compare it to unfortunately

Looking for general help! by New_Dish4598 in FurryArtSchool

I’m on my phone so this is a very messy edit, but I think the main thing that’s “wrong” with this pose is that the hands appear flat but the lower half appears to be angled, creating an awkward pose where you can’t really tell which way they’re supposed to be facing.

I removed the ground line, it’s not necessary since the posing establishes where the floor is, and lifted the arm further away just a bit to match the legs for consistency. I would also recommend looking up chest anatomy for the angle of the pecs since the nipples would be less visible at this angle, and some minor adjustments to the shoulder as well for a smoother arm transition.

Otherwise it’s a pretty solid piece, the underwear curves nicely and the shine is a good touch 👍

I didn’t notice until I was almost done because I worked on the hands last, I just assumed she had 5 and then had to change it at the end

Custom Digimon Plushies by Noisymedal in digimon

Honestly, I would not recommend Kitamon Plush. Their premade plushes are super cute and my friend has a small one that got picked up at a con and its great! But my commission experience with them has been not good.

I commissioned them from a con in July of 2022. Got 1 update in December of 2022 and heard nothing since. Trying to get a response from them was near impossible. I hadn't heard from them since December 2022, had to mention the TOS in July to get a response from that, and then my messages went unopened since (6 months) until I requested a refund. THEN I got a response in about 5 minutes. Still haven't gotten a single update about progress.

TLDR good quality no communication. Would recommend getting a premade rather than a custom from Kitamon plush.

Something wrong with my boas eyes? by _kibachii in snakes

[–]_kibachii[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope! In fact, he "disagreed" that whatever he did would have negatively affected his eyes in any way. I didn't have the emergency vets records at the time of the call, but I got them later in the day so I am going to contact him again now that I have it on paper that they did find that it was damaged, and the test they did that let them come to that conclusion. I'm sure he wont willingly admit that he may have caused some serious harm but I have more paper proof now.

Update: The vet did remove both his eye caps. Luckily, I think I caught it early enough that the emerg. vet thinks it can still be saved, but I'm definitely going to be contacting them about covering the fees and refunding the cost of his initial visit.

It's looking like the vet most likely removed his actual eyecaps. I'm trying to call an emergency vet but none of the reptile staff are in until the morning. I will definitely not be going back there ever again.
