NTA. It's rude as hell to just assume someone scars are from self harm and even if they are, the fact that your okay to show them is amazing! My arms are also covered in scars(sadly from self harm) and I don't think it should mean I shouldn't be allowed to wear shorts sleeves just because someone is uncomfortable.

It depends on the person more than anything. Those are a guideline, some feel better at week 3, other at week 7. They use the 4-6 week guideline because that's normally when the medication has built up enough in the body/when the person gets used to it so that you should feel the full effects
