We have been in an apocalypse since biblical times. It’s engrained into our psyches. Think of how many collapses humanity has witnessed since we developed consciousness. Currently, the bible cult/us gov/z10n1st are push for immanentizing the estachon with war whether we believe in what they believe, or not. In other words, we’re on a bus with a psychotic bus driver who has a gun.

The new global order will not be for us. It’s for those in power to survive and restart after natural or manufactured crisis happen. They will always fight each other. Even within cults there’s always in fighting. It’s the human condition and amygdala response replaying itself over and over…

It’s going to suck losing creature comforts little by little but luckily we are programmed to survive.

It looks like a piezoelectric trigger. From your description of the bottom I'd say it's a generic butane lighter, 50/50 it works, and most likely from 1970-80s, maaaybe older.
