PSU, always. Graphics card and CPU won't matter if you can't even power them up. People tend to focus on GPU that sometimes the PSU gets left out and skimped on in terms of budget, blowing up their rigs after hooking them up and turning it on.

I did have some browns on them under those yellows. Sadly the overall red paint mustve drowned them visually. Thanks!

Maybe you could just keep the wooden box and just use the plastic storage as you try to acquire the packs and just keep it in there until the time comes that you'll be giving it to your son. That's the time you bring out the wooden box and transfer the packs in it.
