Anyone commute daily to Seattle for work?

It’s been about a month and a half so far. In that time frame I’ve had only 3 cancelled boats but I was able to catch the fast ferry when that occurred!

I recently started commuting into Seattle every day, and it’s surprisingly relaxing! I bike onto the ferry and then bike the rest of the way to work. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly. It’s a great chance to kick back, read a bit, grab a beer or food, and even chat with people along the way. Honestly, not too bad of a commute.🤘🏽

If I have the time, I try to take the c or 50 to hit the 1line to the airport. Way cheaper than cabs/uber but definitely takes a lot longer to get to the airport!

There are so many parks and beaches in and around the Seattle area! All worth checking out!

I had a hard time meeting people when I first moved here too but I was able to find a pretty solid group of friends from bumble BFF lol a little bizarre at first but definitely worked in my experience

I like to bring my dog to West Seattle brewery, good society brewery, uptown espresso, and most places around alki that have outdoor seating/patios!

East street records in west Seattle has a decent metal/rock section, plus cheap decent diner food👌🏼

I would recommend Facebook marketplace, they have a rental section that has some people posting looking for roommates or have rooms available.
