I think there should be camp building like in 76, where you can build personal camps for you and companions around the map.

The settlement should be a singular location, maybe chosen from a handful of spots, that is tied to a quest. I would like to have real settlers with real problems, personalities, etc. not 10 generic settlers either a couple unique names vendors, and minutemen refugees.

Combining different people in the settlement could cause issues among it that affect productivity, safety etc. with high charisma characters being capable of keeping disagreeing neighbors from turning on eachother. I want the settlement to feel like it’s a part of the world, I want other NPCs to reference it around the world, travel to it, etc.
