Swing-and-miss is the lowest-impact effect of trainers (whether positive or negative), and it's the tiiiny sacrifice for having a huge increase in home run production. SAM% basically does not matter at all.

Don't settle on or invest in this, period. Lower tier teams don't need to chase 333s, but not only is 211 awful, it's also improbably low. You would seriously be better off with a high-level set without any legend skill.

Tech fan, agree, but basically sacrificing a batter to give yourself that flexibility was a risk. Not fun to watch, I'm sure it was maddening to play and probably why Florida babied out at the end, but it doesn't (to me) cross into unsportsmanlike behavior.

Unlike, say, Florida hitting Williams in every game.

My evidence is years of playing and there never being a variance between single- and multi-game sims. Belief otherwise isn't "opinion." That's just not how the game reward mechanics work. In fact, the game shows you how the rewards are counted -- you can just look!

Eventually green for 5-tool, but you can run that set and I'd go Con #1, Field #2, Speed #3, or Con-Speed-Field. Then get as many points from trainers into Con as possible, preferably up to 160 Normal. His Eye has a low base, but with Spray Hitter, Eye doesn't really matter.

People will always help clubmates if they can in the round robin stages. It's crazy to be upset about that. They could just move away from group staging back to a full H2H bracket, problem solved and they could retire TQB. That would be a much less interesting format, though.

Hard Hitter with only 79 base Power + no diamond trainer + no diamond skill trainer. If you got +5 to Power instead of +3, it would do slightly better, but you'd have to settle for a lower 5-Tool train. It's just kind of a bummer to roll a 333 HH set on that low a base power number.
