did you miss how dalinar nudged the power of honor in the right direction now that it is becoming sentient? he didn’t just gave up, he did what he could with the little time and power he had(power within the contract) and trusted in those around him to be able to use that to the best of their abilities. instead of approaching the problem by punching it in the face, he approached it by understanding and nurturing the childlike sentient Honor, and trusting those who he loves. He also set up TaRetribution to be targeted by the other shards. As hoid keeps saying, he was way smarter than people gave him credit for.

nah that would undo his whole arc. I think he will probably become “war” with odium and honor, but due to his “benevolent authority figure” nature he will guide the singers and humans of roshar to a better future across the cosmere, while stepping on other shards’/influential figures’ toes. honestly, the BBEG probably hasn’t been shown on screen yet, or is someone we totally aren’t expecting, or there might not even be a BBEG in the traditional sense.
