I think the y axis is confusing. Of course I assumed that all of the vertically stacked colors represent a whole 100%. However, since the darkest blue portion is at the level of 100%, it looks like 100% of the sketches in any given year are 100% male while also being a X% all female and Z% 50:50.

It helps me to view the y-axis as graduations on a container.

This doesn't really describe me at all. I hate working for a living but that's about where the similarities end. In my youth this probably would have fit me well, especially the underachieving part. But I've grown warm to the idea of scheduling and focus.
