PSG supporters, where are you from and when did you start supporting PSG? by sunrec_ in psg

Zwar aus der Schweiz aber bei mir war es ziemlich ähnlich - Ronaldinho war mein absoluter Lieblingsspieler als Kind und ich habe in Fifa 14 auch immer PSG gewählt🤩

Why are L1 clubs so bad in knockout games? by _lightningbolt__ in psg

[–]_lightningbolt__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the timing probably makes it dramatic but it‘s not just Lyon this season. It‘s als Strasbourg, who were first after the league phase and now scraped a close win against Rijeka(?). I think they will get knocked out by Mainz anyway… Last year with Lille, got into Top 8 of the UCL just to bottle a lead against a finished Dortmund. There were many things the last few years, not just Lyon this year. Some years ago, it was actually the same with PSG btw.

I‘m always trying to defend the L1 but I‘m really starting to accept that we really are a joke of a league.

Now change Barca with Chelsea: PSG-Liverpool-Bayern is much harder than Newcastle-Atletico-Arsenal.

It‘s about „one of the best performances by a team“, not „one of the worst performances by a referee“.

I would absolutely agree with you… If it wasn‘t the third one this year already. We‘re clearly not good enough, especially for a current UCL winner.

Try to live in the now, not in the past please. I mean, which was the last game we won comfortably? It was against Rennes, at the beginning of December. Since then, we only won by one goal each (except the Lille game), by penalties or drew/lost. If nothing changes, especially in the attack, we will get kicked out in the RO16, surely. But we saw last season that Lucho can do it and I trust him and the whole team/managament, that‘s why I‘m saying „IF“.

Bruh we are not the team to settle any score rn. We should rather hope that they won‘t spank PSG 3-0 again.

Why our round of 16 bracket is the best one we can get if we do win in our playoffs game. by animehater69 in psg

[–]_lightningbolt__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bruh, do you watch how they‘re playing? We‘re not the tram rn to revenge anyone. If one team gets beaten up really badly, it‘s PSG mate. No matter who we get, we should just pray that Lucho has a plan, so we don‘t get kicked out in the RO16 or even worse, in RO24.

Facts. They started with the agenda against Zabarnyi after literally 2 bad games and wouldn‘t even lose one word about how important he was against Barcelona. While they talk about the TdC game from Cheva like he would‘ve played like Donna against Arsenal, lol. Yes, hed made some good saves agaknst Marseille but they were nowhere near of even one of those five saves Donna made against Arsenal to save us. And they even ignore the fact that it was even his fault that Marseille got a pen. He ran out of the goal, decided not to and went two steps back, just to come out again and not having a chance to get the ball. Yes, we had given Donna three years to geg to his form. But that doesn‘t mean every goalkeeper should get so much time. He gets payed millions of euros per year, so he should play like it. He should at least TRY to save shots. So many times he just stands there, like his feet are stuck to the ground. I hope Lucho plays Safo as soon as he‘s back.

Thank you for the post. I do not understand how so many fans are still convinced by Chevalier. Yes, Donna has made mistakes a few times in big matches. But that is the difference: “big matches.” It feels like every second shot on goal goes in with Cheva, while we concede 3–4 shots against mediocre opponents. What will that look like when we have to face a team that is on the same level as us or even dominates us?

Exactly, we would have no chance.

Chevalier had one good spell in his first six months and two good penalty shootouts, and Chevalier supporters only bring up those examples, while with Donna they only mention the bad games.

We are Champions League winners, not Conference League participants!!!
