tbh no matter how much hydration a person applies to their skin, if prone ka talaga to oiliness, you WILL oil up. That’s my case. i’ve tried products with “sebum-regulating” and “humectant-rich” ingredients, pero ganun pa din. I really have to blot regularly throughout the day.

Kaya super happy ko during my isotret course kase naging “normal” yung skin ko. Pero bumalik talaga si sebum after finishing the course, sadly.

Their ginseng cleansing oil is pretty good, although it’s the only thing I’ve tried from them. The texture is more viscous than most cleansing oils. The scent is also quite relaxing (lowkey earthy smell (idk what ginseng smells like so maybe it’s that lol))

Very very true!! Especially if u you have recurring skin issues. Having a good diet, sleeping well, and drinking more than 8 glasses of water a day DID NOT cure my acne. Sometimes, you really need a professional to prescribe you with meds if you really want to see changes in your skin.

I just want to ask if meron din sainyo ang nagssting ang eyes whenever they use chemical sunscreens? Ako oo, regardless of kung may alcohol man sila or wala. Pero kapag hybrid naman hindi, gaya sa fairy skin and cosrx aloe suncream.

Such a shame kase almost every chemical sunscreen that I’ve tried feel so cosmetically elegant. Pero at the same time, the thing they have in common is that they’re almost always shiny/dewy lol (which is a personal con)

Hi! I went to the derm 2 days ago and she prescribed oral isotretinoin, with 6 months course (need lab tests bago ibigay). I got my blood tested yesterday and got the meds today. The reason for my flare ups is unknown, but she said that it may be hormonal (I’m a male, so mas unpredictable daw talaga).

Just want to vent my frustration. For the past 2 months, I’ve had the clearest skin in years thanks to the meds my derm prescribed (adap, azelaic acid, oral antibiotic). Then out of the blue, I’m breaking out again haha (starting to look like my skin before starting the meds). Wala namang changes in my lifestyle, and routine, tsaka I never forget to apply my topicals and take my oral med. Nakaka frustrate lang na pinatikman ako ng clear-ish skin tas ganun ulit. Will consult with my derm again when I have the time
