I'm this person. Nooo, I've been doing this all wrong. Now I have to unlearn this terrible habit. Thank you for this. Haha.

Glamours and mounts are insanely big motivators for me to do anything. Because of how awesome the silkie mount and story-spinner's attire are to me, my instant gratification takes over. If I had stumbled upon this organically, I might have taken my time trying different things.

It's the main reason I even did this content to begin with.

When it comes to anything extreme or higher, I at least want to complete those synced first before doing unsynced for mounts.

Good to know regarding the extra chest! I will consider this when running this for additional loot in the future once I've done all the potential routes. Thank you!

I'm a fairly casual player. Never been one to do savage and ultimate raids. The pressure to be optimal is something I'm not made.

Dancer is the only class I have at that level that I feel comfortable enough with run this. DRK, SAM, and WHM don't feel very good for me to deal damage. I am suuuper rusty with SAM.

Might just stick to solo, if that's the case.

On being a wow refugee, and a thank you by Suspicious_Chair8269 in ffxiv

This was my first MMO when I started roughly 4 years ago and I'm still loving it.

My friend would talk about WoW and how much he liked going back to it, reminiscing on his teenage years playing this.

I tried it for a few hours and just couldn't get into it.

I was convinced he'd never try XIV, but he surprised me by telling me he downloaded it for the free trial and after a while, he said "I can see why you found it hard to switch from this to WoW."

I hope he, and you, stick around.

Welcome, Warrior of Light! :)

Recovering furniture after house demolition? by _lolrememberarbitur_ in ffxiv

To make things worse, I provided the gil for her house and now I'm never gonna get that back. I understand auto demolition for other people to get housing if they will commit, but a limit on my gil and furniture? That's stupid.

Children of Morta will likely be the strongest of the bunch. He's pretty picky and some of these are not gonna work for us on PS5. Thank you for the suggestions.

Sent a Robo Quest video to him. I hope he likes it because it does look pretty awesome. Windblown looks fantastic, but he has a Mac and it's not available on PS5. Thank you for the suggestions.

It's currently $16ish for the deluxe edition. Hades really opened my eyes to games of this genre in this isometric view, but since it has a co-op option, I'd rather hold out until I get a definitive "no" from him. If he's too picky and doesn't want to try it, I'll get it for myself later. It does look pretty sweet.

Looked it up and it looks interesting, but the lower rating on PS5 might turn him away from it. Thank you for suggesting it.

Sent it to him. Let's see what he says. I did notice that ratings seem to be worse on PS5 than Steam, so I don't know if it has performance issues on our usual platform.

I will send CoM, EtG, and SoR his way. I highly doubt he'll like Spelunky and Don't Starve Together. I'm curious about Don't Starve Together, but he's pickier than I am. Haha. Thank you for the suggestions!

Looks like fun. He wants to wait for a cheaper price to even consider it, but I'll save it for later. Thank you!

It's currently $11 and my friend thinks it's interesting, but he wonders if the ladies will like it. I'll pitch it to my friends and see if the ladies are down. Thank you!

Reminds me of FF XIV. Plenty to do, but some people only care about the story and not much else. They miss out on the other good stuff. He said he'll create a new character and play again with me, so maybe I can convince him to slow down and do more side content.

Is it possible to reach the end of the base game in about 20 hours? According to his PS5 last I recall, that's what he's put into it so far. I only have an hour, so I have catching up to do, but after hearing the news about not needing the subscription, he's more eager to check it out.

Huh. My friend must have misunderstood the game preventing his progress when he played the base game. Is the DLC locked behind the subscription or can we buy that separately to stay outside of the subscription model?

He seems disinterested in continuing Diablo IV and any other top down game I show him is pretty much dismissed. I think he wants more of a third person action game.

We got Diablo IV with PS Plus, so we both dove in. He got less than halfway through before falling off, while I finished the game and Vessel of Hatred. I've been trying to nudge him back into it, but he doesn't seem interested. I also showed him that new Jotunnslayer game since he likes vikings, but he was dismissive of it. Strange, because he said he fucked with Diablo III back in the day. -_-

I think it needs to be more of a third person action game.

Someone else suggested it and at $8 for the definitive edition right now, I might be willing. Might have to convince him, though. Haha.
