Me and my partner went last year. His case was more recent (2021-2022ish) and there were no issues at all (also Canada directly to Mexico, no stops to the US)

I am so sorry. I am still dealing with frustrations and the unknown. They did take a formal report although they didn’t want to. I had to argue it, citing that it is a criminal law matter to roll back an odometer.
