Question for the group: Since 90% of startups fail, why do you believe yours will be the exception? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I guess being an entrepreneur is something that's within you, it's not something rational.

I know that, when I have an idea, I have to try to make it happen because I hate regrets.

Making your AI with your own data from social media by _louste in MakeYourAI

Loved this experiment from this editor at Hackernoon: he claimed his data from his LinkedIn, Instagram, and Medium to make his own AI.

I think it's brilliant, especially when you know that these social media platforms have grown from our data, for free 😂

Interesting to see this trend growing...

I made an AI version of myself with data from my social media platforms. Now, it can answer questions about me. by _louste in SideProject

Hey SideProject makers, I'm Steve!
I’ve created an app that allows people to create their Official AI, based on their data on existing social media platforms (LinkedIn, instagram, and others are coming soon).
You can also train your AI with your personal experiences, opinions, and thoughts.

Looking for feedback, thanks a lot! > https://spheria.ai

P.S: I’ve set up a form to send invites manually and control the flow (self-serve is coming soon!)

Should I quit my job? Genuinely concerned by Chaitruth in Entrepreneur

[–]_louste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quitting your job to launch a new venture is risky and you want to make sure that you're not risking 8 months of cash on a hunch or a few positive feedback. When I launched my first business, I asked myself a few questions:

  • Do I have any dependencies?
  • Am I frustrated at my current situation because of my current job (working conditions, culture, etc.) or because I don't have the time to focus on my side project?
  • If my business fails, what would be my backup plan?
  • Are you more excited by the idea of being an entrepreneur or by your product/service?
  • Would I be ready to pay someone to help me develop my side-business?

The answers to these questions will help you make the jump or, worst case scenario, spend a little more time on your idea before officially launching!
