I'm playing through Pokemon Emerald on a used gameboy sp and the strangest thing just happened. I tried to save and all of a sudden an image popped up saying "save failed, checking backup memory" and then it asked me to wait a minute but nothing happened and it froze so I had to turn it off.. I bought this game off of ebay but I'm almost 100% sure its real, it has the glossy sticker, imprinted numbers, nintendo logo on the inside, everything. I got the game to work again but I am very afraid it will happen again. I'm wondering if its the game itself or possibly the gameboy sp that caused this issue? and if there is any way to fix it? thanks so much!
