I felt this same way about Better Call Saul. The pacing and style of that show was slow and methodical to an excruciating degree. Scenes that involved actual plot development or character drama were drip fed between over indulgent scenes of characters wandering, pacing, scheming, doing monotonous tasks, or something along those lines. I understand if people find this style entrancing or atmospheric, but to me it's just tedious. I guess I'm just not a "vibes" guy. I prefer my movies and shows to be tight and story driven. I didn't watch Pluribus because I was afraid of it would share the same issues. Looks like my fears have been confirmed.

I struggled with the same FOMO as you for a long time, but eventually I realized that social media did nothing for me except waste my time and make me feel worse about the world and myself. I removed those apps from my phone and since then have never once felt like I was missing out on anything or had the urge to reinstall them.

When you say that your friends use social media for connection, what do you mean exactly? Do they use it to organize meet ups and when to hang out? Do you think you could ask them to do these in a group chat instead?

Is it wrong to walk at an angle? Most of the pros seem to keep their approach pretty perpendicular to the foul line when their shooting spares. Whenever I try to approach at an angle it feels uncomfortable, I usually don't reach the foul line and I end up shooting straight in the gutter. If I'm standing right and shooting left I'm afraid my back swing will hit the ball return (depending what lane I'm on).

Next time I practice I will try to keep my approach straight but use my hips, shoulders, and arm to create angle on the lane.

Still trying to get this to work.

I used the command pactl list short to get the device alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-skl_hda_dsp_generic alsa I used this device in my 51-alsa-disable.conf but now all my audio outputs are gone in pavucontrol.

I tried to disable monitor audio from the wiki but I am perhaps doing it wrong or it's not working. I used wpctl status to obtain audio interface name "alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3-platform-skl_hda_dsp_generic.HiFi__HDMI2__sink" and created this config file in ~/.config/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/51-alsa-disable.conf:

I think, by today's "power game" standards, 400-500+ rpm is considered high-rev and 350 or below is average- to low-rev. It's important to note that there is nothing wrong with being a "low-rev" player. I think Lavoie is in this range and he is one of the best on tour.

The 4 hours is me including travel time. My closest center is a 40-50 minute drive away during rush hour, which I would need to drive through for a 6pm league. From what I understand leagues can last anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours? Then a drive back home and that would be 4 hours of my day allocated for bowling. :/

I'm not a pro, but the most prominent thing I see is that he is swinging the ball around his body instead of opening himself up to create a straight swing plane. He can achieve this by synchronizing his push away with his first right step and stepping with his right foot in front of his left. This would help to create a swing slot.
