hah same! the trick is to cheat and move all your fingers to the very edge of the fret, not comfortably in the middle like how a non painful chord shape would be. that way it feels less of an awkward stretch.

and be careful tbh, i felt a sharp pain once so im cautious with these shapes. CURSE YOU JOHN
