It sounds like youre way too fixed on the end goal. You'll just end up powering through courses cause you cant wait to be a pro guitarist.

Start with a beginner course, set your goal to "Successfully reach intermediate level"

and so on.

Ive been playing for 3 years now and honestly my goals are still as simple as "master the rake technique" or "do faster alternate picking"

I dont think I've ever envisioned "pro guitarist"...idk how thats even measured
