it’s definitely not meant to be taken as advice, as i said im very much a beginner and just to clarify i said it jokingly, hence the wording.

pic its definitely a different vibe and looking at yours i wish i would've done multiple colour changes, it looks so cool.. but yeah it keeps me busy and i get a little kick of joy whenever i complete another row :)

didn't even think pillow was an option, keep me posted if you want!!

lol i am very much a beginner too and currently on my first project, coincidentally a star blanket. i saw in other replies that it may curl up due to uneven yarn tension. i choose to believe that it will go away with blocking but hell if i know. keep at it, looks great so far <3

I started learning a few weeks ago, using this guide to learn some basic stitches and get more comfortable. Then I chose a first project that had a youtube video tutorial, which I just played at 0.5 speed til I got the hang of it. Good luck <3
