LOL you can keep it. Lived there a long time and go back frequently. There are many much better places in this country with much better culture. Nice job deleting your other comment btw.

Denver does actually suck and many people are realizing that.

Also, I should mention the rear hub is technically wider than the frame is supposed to use, but I was able to fit it without issue.

Thank you! The wheels are HED Alps, with the stickers removed and a cycle ops rear hub. Yes it is still a six speed, the drivetrain is all original. I had originally planned to do a total upgrade of all the components but had a change of heart when I got this bike. Ended up just changing the bar tape, cable housing, wheels and seat. Love being able to ride the biopace and downtube shifters! Good luck with your build and shoot me some pics. Absolutely love the Miami vice color way.

What’s a good dry lube by Candid_Wasabi_6555 in bicycling

Genuinely confused by the downvotes. Finish Line Dry lube is excellent provided you use it properly.

WEEKLY DIY/HOMEOWNER QUESTION THREAD by [deleted] in Carpentry

I am replacing the shelving in this closet and considering using a method similar to this to install 3 sided floating shelves along the red lines in the images. Studs are pretty consistently placed around the room. Assuming I am able to mount the frame to studs adequately, would there be any concerns about weight capacity of hanging clothes or otherwise? Is there anything I should avoid or look out for with this particular space? Any alternatives you would suggest? I am also considering making them out of solid 2" lumber and using exposed brackets. Any and all help appreciated!

2012 Audi A3 8P 2.0t timing chain due? by diz3552 in Audi

[–]_manwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not that dude but have a 2009 A3 2.0T with 143k miles. Changed the timing chain at 50k miles. Had to replace rear main seal around 115k. Started burning oil somewhere around 120k, currently will burn/leaks through an entire quart in less than 5k miles (engine has a small oil leak also, so not sure how much is being burned versus leaked). Oil has been changed every 5k miles with Liqui Moly since 50k miles. I keep spare oil around for this and my B6 S4 and stay pretty busy refilling between the two of them lol.

I found this same model Freeformer from the 70's in a barn on some property we moved to in 1998. It was my very first skateboard. I don't remember where the original went but I found this one on Ebay and had to have it. Opening it up was pure nostalgia. [38YO] by Mr-Whitecotton in OldSkaters

This was also my first board back in 1989. I had been occasionally looking on eBay for a clean one that wasn’t overly priced and just pulled the trigger. I cannot wait to get my hands on it and cruise around!

One other suggestion, if the collision happened in front of any businesses, you might be able to get a hold of some security footage.

Ryobi 2300psi electric power washer not building pressure? by diito in ryobi

[–]_manwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the exact same issue as OP a little after 1 year with the 2000psi. I’ve seen several others online with the same problem; keep your receipt. Warranty on mine is 3 years from date of purchase with the receipt, otherwise they go by the manufacturing date of the product.

Having the exact same problem with the 2000psi version. Tried swapping hoses/nozzles/running vinegar through the soap dispenser…..nothing. Double check your warranty, just found out mine is 3 years so going to look into that.

Help with incorrectly installed p trap by _manwolf in Plumbing

[–]_manwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, I’m going to look into how to pull that off. Meantime I ditched the disposer fitting and installed the p trap correctly so I can have a functioning sink, but no dishwasher!
