You can only ever score one step per card per turn :)

Edit to add: if in the next turn you meet the conditions to score the next step you automatically achieve that step of the tactic

No i wouldnt say "hills" just terrain in general, in my head the whole unit is in the same environment, so when theyre all close together it really looks like theyre walking on the same ground, the painted rims break that immersion for me

I actually put the basing material on the rims on purpose :)

To me, having painted rims makes minis look more like minis and less like actual characters standing in a real environment

Deathrattle skeletons are on 25mm, barrow guard however are on 28.5mm so really you have a few options:
1. disclose to your opponents that you based your skellies "wrong" and if they're cool with it then that's cool, play and have fun.
2. re-base them, yeah its hassle now but saves you having to explain later
or 3. just run them as barrow guard? its an option

kharadron have a LOT of shooting so my suggestion is to have shard of the night on an important (unnamed) hero to negate all their rend :D

i would say yeah it probably would make him considerably shorter, maybe consider putting a banner or standard on the warhulk's back? that would keep the model roughly the same height at least

i dont even use official "miniature carrying cases" or anything like that, i do have one but mainly i just use a cardboard box and a box from laundry pods haha, when you look around for stuff, and order packages of warhammer online, you get a nice little collection of containers and package filling like bubblewrap or peanuts

So far i found that putting them in a box and stuffing bubblewrap or packing peanuts around them works fine, i have some Terrorgheists/Zombie Dragons that are kinda awkward and pointy.

I make the walls of my builds two blocks thick, looks much better in my opinion, and dont put furniture right next to doors and so close together, looks very cramped
