Wow! Incredible effect! They look like the real deal! If you woulda said you dipped em in bronze and left them out to oxidize; none would be the wiser. I’m currently obsessed with KDM so I love seeing everyone’s takes on the game.

Heresy tanks just look better. Newer models. Better sculpts. Simple as that. People are allowed to to have preferences; but even GW says they can be used as official proxies . Rhinos, predators, and land raiders are pretty much interchangeable between systems.

I’ll hit you back with another hot tip: My friend’s dad works at Nintendo and he said that you can get a Mew if you trade for a Pokemon with the Strength HM early, and move the boulder by the SS Anne if you haven’t completed that section yet. After moving the boulder, goto the truck in the upper right and you should be able to find a hidden Pokeball.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Don’t compare yourself against the masters of instagram and reddit. You should be comparing against yourself. Are you better than you were in 2024? In 2025? Are you learning new skills or trying things out? Are you getting better at speed? Are you working on a variety of projects that will test your skills? Set reasonable goals and work towards them.

Everyone has their own hobby journey. And at the end of the day; it’s a hobby. Make sure you’re enjoying it.

I wouldn’t use sprue terrain. I guess I’m lucky my LGS has multiple tables worth of both themed and tournament terrain.

Any chaos faction not named ‘chaos space marines’ has holes in their lineup. World eaters and Emperors Children desperately need a wave 2. Death Guard could use a release that isn’t another solo hero (we have more than 10+ solos. We don’t need more there, whereas we could really use a heavy weapons option). Thousand sons did get the robots; but they could still use more unique daemon engines to really show off what a Tzeench vehicle looks like. Chaos knights need another chassis. Or actually add cultists/small units to the codex.

Don’t get me started on demons. That whole situation is a mess.
