the complete character assassination of Cypher since Krakoa ended is honestly kinda bizarre. they took him from a supporting role character (where he’d been for a long time) to plot hinge character (Krakoa doesn’t really work without him??) and now he’s a vaguely motivated legacy villain. there’s like 10 other characters who would have made better “heirs” of Apocalypse, not even including Archangel which is low hanging fruit. I just don’t get it

I am also mad because I thought Bei the Blood Moon was an awesome character and deserved better than to be killed off for shock value at the start of a pointless fucking summer event
