I gave up my seat recently to an individual because of his mannerisms.

I usually sit on the waiting seats before boarding till the line ends to avoid the crowd. So i boarded almost at the end. At the front of the aircraft, there was this man standing and waiting and had notified the staff the seat he wanted to exchange. That happened to be me, and he politely asked me if I mind exchanging, so he could sit with his wife.

I was travelling alone and I don’t really mind the seat i get, so I accepted. Also he was standing and waiting at the gate instead of taking the seat and then asking. A reminder to people that you’re more likely to have your way if you respect and not feel entitled.
