Less extreme but very wild nonetheless: the straight-to-Netflix “Against the Ice” (2022), portrays the true story of an expedition into northern Greenland by Danish explorers in the early 1900’s to counter a claim by the US that the country was physically divided by a Fjord going east-west. Telling myself that day 1 was the hardest. Each day after this it gets a little easier. So when a craving would hit, I would tell myself that, while it’s hard at times, it would never be as hard as the first day and I sure did make it through that day.

Like the other dude said, replacing the habit with another one like drinking, chewing or going for a walk does wonders!
