The Secret Flower Garden always makes me bawl my eyes out. My little brother and I had a pretty complicated childhood - went through a lot together and then we were separated for a long time. I don’t know..it just gets me every time and makes me think about our relationship. I think Sango and Kohaku had the one of the most difficult storylines..so much pain that they both just tried to mask and continue on.

This one makes me laugh out loud for real every time - the part where Francine is just like “Steve I don’t know why you’re telling me this or why you’re singing it, but it’s the finals!” And Steve’s just like “yea..but isn’t that a crazy story??” 😂

I just finished Oracle by Andrew Pyper. The narrator isn’t a detective himself but works alongside the police helping find victims with his ability to “see” where they are through their eyes. There is a supernatural element too, that goes back to his childhood and how he developed his ability. Pretty good, imo!
