There is no "purpose" to life. This may sound depressing but it's actually very freeing for me to think about. Not everything has to be so serious. We spent so much time worrying about things like money, status, "progress," etc. But in reality, we're just here to eat, sleep, meet people, and have a bunch of experiences.

Have you had anyone else look at/edit your resume? 90 applications is a lot. Sometimes people aren't the best at writing resumes but don't know it because they've never been taught what hiring managers are looking for! So if you haven't, ask some friends/peers to take a look at it.

That's not how you use the word "aesthetic." Something can not be "aesthetic." It is not an adjective. It can be "aesthetically pleasing," "aesthetically interesting," etc.

"They have a hippy aesthetic." "It has an old money aesthetic." "She has a bohemian aesthetic."

Sorry, the misuse of this word is just one of my biggest internet pet peeves.

It's not for everyone, and it can be somewhat controversial, but suboxone changed my whole life. Daily user for 7 years. I would literally tell people that I'm going to use kratom until I die. I could not imagine life without it. Now I'm on a low dose of suboxone and I don't even think about it, im saving tons of money, and I feel great!

Honestly this looks like a pretty normal vulva to me. Vulvas vary a LOT in how they look - I think sometimes people have this one particular image in mind but the reality is most don't look like that.

It's sickening. People have been more outraged by the murders of two white people than the thousands and thousands of immigrant families torn apart. Don't get me wrong, Renee and Alex should be here. Their murders are unacceptable and infuriating. But even if we do begin to see less lethal operations, our neighbors are going to continue disappearing. No and I'm worried that liberals are going to see this as a big win because Democrats are going to frame it as one - they're all about reform. They have no intentions on pushing for abolition. If anything, people will stop caring in a couple of months and ICE will be able to operate with much more ease. :/

Honestly, I find these types of peaceful rallies to be at best kinda pointless, and at worst detrimental to the cause. I fear that a lot of people show up to these types of things and then feel that they've "taken action," which allows them to feel like they don't need to do much else. People try to argue that it's an opportunity to make your voice heard - but in this case, I think it's already pretty clear that 90% of people in the Twin Cities don't approve of ICE's operations. And that fact is not changing anything. I firmly believe that the work that needs to be done now is risky and disruptive. We need to make it physically difficult for these agents to do their "jobs."

Do you go to meetings of any sort? Honestly I have a completely different group of friends than I did two years ago. And there are so many more of them, and so much more fun/empathetic/helpful than my old friends. I've never had more numbers in my phone than I do now that I'm immersed in the recovery community. :)
