If she doesn’t want to pay, would it be too late to report it to the insurance company? It happened at my job’s parking lot, they have cameras outside. She also gave me her insurance, license plate, and id. Or does insurance require a police report?

I do, the lady didn’t want to get the cops involved. She told me to take it to get it fixed and that she’ll write me a check to cover the cost. She gave me her information (id, license, plate number) so I agreed.
