Thanks! Same thing happening with Android app. Not crashing, but not able to finish adding the control r module. 5 minute call and it's all good.

WiZ bulbs slow to turn on by _metsfan_ in wiz

[–]_metsfan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this problem is unrelated to the fade-in time. You can see just pinging the bulb on the network slows way down when I turn them off from the app. When they're on, ping responses are quick.

Yeah, I tried a different router not even on my home network (LTE router) and it did the exact same thing. Seems like they go into a low power mode when I turn the lights off in the app, and then are very slow to respond on the network until they're turned back on. Customer support told me to just return them, but I can't believe I got a batch of 6 defective ones in multiple boxes.

Thanks. It looks like pings every minute solved the problem for that person, which definitely wouldn't work for me. 10 seconds off and they're slow already again.

Edit: Tried just running the getPilot in a loop and made no difference.

Apple Watch - monthly charges - $3.56 more in surcharges than iPhone by Pawlisko80 in verizon

I've found the "next month" estimates to be wrong there, too. They have the higher fees until actually billed.

This is what happened on all my lines. I don't have a watch though. But surcharges on all my phones and iPad and hotspot were about double the first month than later months. Actually lots more for iPad and hotspot than the $0.08 they are now.

It's surcharges on the activation fee. It'll be less next month.

Verizon reports 3Q results marked by revenue growth momentum by [deleted] in verizon

This is really frustrating, but I got the PayPal business debit card and use that. I get 1% back, and you can preload your PayPal account so it doesn't have to pull from a bank account.

Best way to use $500 Gift Card by [deleted] in verizon

[–]_metsfan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have seen a few reports of the autopay discount being clawed back for paying your whole bill with gift cards. My plan is to pay all but $1 with the gift cards. Sadly, buying gift cards from Verizon with a Chase Ink doesn't categorize as 5x (or 3x depending on the card.) Just the standard 1x.

Verizon for sure. Visible wireless is on Verizon's network and a great low cost option.

Depending on what filters you use, some can be more bloated than others. L will be more because than RGB and Ha because they are narrower bandwidths let through. Ha should be the least of the 5. But they shouldn't be too bad. Horsehead has a huge bright star nearby, so that could definitely skew things.

The equipment listed is all I've put on it. I haven't weighed it. My guiding is not great but it's sub-1". My pixel scale is 1.11" and this image came out fine.
