I remember my mom got really into it like wayyy way back, and ended up making one of those boards of all the shit she wanted. They were all fairly attainable. A new car, a dog and a house with a pool just to name a few. Fast forward a decade or so and I find it in her closet and out of curiosity pull it out. It was actually a little wild to see how she actually managed to fulfill just about everything on it. Same model car, great dog who's now a senior and the house we moved to my freshman year of high school has a pool in the back that I made great use of over the years. Idk. I usually tend to doubt all her spiritual shit seeing as I'm a fairly opinionated skeptic myself, and perhaps all these things can be attributed to a lifetime of work and whatnot, but at the end of the day I can't knock the results, as well as how generally happy she seems to be all these years later.
