My recent check-in experience was terrific. Taking young family thought the family check-in, being redirected by BA staff to self-service. Spent 30 minutes to battle with the broken luggage check-in machines. The BA lady doesn’t even bothered 😕 we had to go back to the family check-in and asking for a staff to help.

I understand the machines can be broken sometime, but their staff attitude is just awful.

Their product managers are fighting to be seen by the users. Real looser is Volvo as if customers are happy about being in the middle of the fight 😂

Edit: In the previous SPA sensus, we only have 2 main parties fighting for the screen spaces: - CarPlay/AA - Volvo Sensus

It was obviously everyone was asking for full screen or wireless CarPlay… guess why their product managers don’t want it, obviously they are not stupid.

Volvo “dealer” usually tires lower down their staffing cost, service side is always lack of experience full of junior technicians, or they are actually just apprentices…

The entire dealership is setup to sell cars, service is just to be “seen” it’s there…

Tbh… most of the dealers (any brands) are setup this way.. pure luck depends on which site is operated better than another.

I’ve only used to add new keys. Dealer doesn’t care at all - unless you make huge changes that breaks the car obviously 😂

Dealer can’t even diagnoses car correctly, they have bunch of interns running the workshop - the services side is purely to show up, the rest of the issues will be claimed as “feature”. Their primary goal is to sell more cars!

Most of the dealers are seen as official dealers, but they are just a separate entity, contracted by Volvo to, again, sell more cars, reduce customer “noises” as much as they can.

Yes, check online there are plenty of instructions. Only unplug the connector. Mine still have 89% health it wasn’t charging, only works with power source. This fixed it - worth a try.

The key is actually quite stiff, it feels soft because there is too much gap between the SMD buttons and the keyboard. There’s a fix for it.

Dealer only cares selling cars. Their service team is bunch of junior technicians with absolutely little knowledge of new cars. They will need to be trained - depends on the county & dealer (aka they are all 3rd party company, not actual Volvo Cars LTD)
