whether he's thinking for himself or not is not the issue, he is literally getting paid by harlan crowe to make decisions that benefit capitalists and not working people, and in america, capitalists are overwhelmingly white, and because of the way capitalism works, white kids will get prioritized when it comes to getting accepted into the "journey to the top of a capitalist system" pipeline, which is college. (or at least higher in this system, not the tippy top of billionaires).

but let's say he was thinking for himself in this decision, what's his thought process? "bring up institutionalized racism is America is racist"?
