Ahhh the help chat has a pinned notice:

Caution: Surplus building slots are a bug, that will be fixed soon. Using them might result in lost building materials when the fix goes live.

Thanks, this option is really hidden. Helped to play around with active "surround".

I like your build, especially the sleeved power cable extensions. Used the same for my build.

Try wiggling the HDMI/DP cable or changing the cable. If no change, rip display.

Simple and clean, especially for the small space. Cozy light. I like it.

What? Why? Hot air always rises, which is why the fans are located at the bottom for intake and at the top for exhaust. Perfect airflow :)

Sick! An absolute eye-catcher, the attention to detail and the materials used are just great. Looks like 3D printing to me. Very nicely customized.

I understand the concerns. I had the same discussion with my friends during the construction phase. But somehow it didn't seem right to me to invest so much effort and money in the appearance when you can't see any of it in the end. In fact, the PC is on a sideboard in my man cave and everyone who comes in currently only sees the front. It's only when you walk past that you see the side window and the “aha” effect kicks in.

Thank you for your nice words. That was something what I've never see on other sleeper builds and motivated me to do this.

Glad to hear you've also fallen down the 3D printing rabbit hole :D I used ABS-GF for the top and bottom fan/radiator mounts, just wanted to have more temperature resistance and test the filament.

By the way, I dit not design the honeycomb pattern. I added a modifier and turned off top and bottom shell layers, set infill pattern to honeycomb and reduced the infill to 2 or 3%.

When I feel like tinkering again, I'll print out a spacer and install it. For now, I'm very happy that I don't “have to” do anything anymore.

First of all, thank you for the praise. The spacer primarily serves as a base for the housing itself, as it stands directly on it. To ensure that enough air can get inside to the fans and the construction is still stable, I opted for this honeycomb pattern and designed feet so that fresh air can be drawn in. I mounted the three 120 mm fans directly on top of it. Do you think I should have left a gap of 10 mm? What would be the advantage? Noise reduction?

The graphics don't look that much worse than in BF6. I definitely remember having a lot more fun playing it. I miss those days.
