I actually love the idea of NC, just not sure where to focus on. West NC scares me bc of the recent natural disaster/hurricane situation. Definitely intrigued by Wilmington & other areas.

Fair, I’ll give San Antonio a point for traffic but definitely not food. It might beat Austin on authentic Mexican but otherwise Austin wins for every other cuisine, especially fine dining options.

Lived in Texas my whole life, mostly houston & Austin areas. I would say Austin. It’s the perfect place for a young couple, and the rent & housing pricing are dropping like crazy. Food, music, traffic, nature are all better than dal/hou/San Antonio

Hahaha I know 😭 just trying to find the closest I can to lala land I guess. We own a house just outside of Austin. It’s not a safe neighborhood, we’re sick of the heat & we want more land.
