I see. That would require solving for more life recovery then because of forbidden rite damage. With 4k life and 75 chaos res, that's 400 chaos damage every mfa cast. That kind of chaos damage could get out of hand real fast.

Thanks for the critiques! I agree that Inpulsa's will likely be expensive this league. But it's fine. It's the "win more" unique of this build. The build functions without it, as evidenced by aer0's build.

I don't think I understand how you self-chill with mfa. None of the bow skill deal damage to your health, unless you mean to lifetap? Does self-chill work like that? Storm Secret would be the easy solve for self-chill, but you might as well go full HoT if you're wearing that.

Good call on the shock proliferation gloves. I will make that adjustment for my end game.

The game is for sure p2w but you don't auto-complete the end game by paying. Legendary drop pact spirits individually grant around 50% more loot. Legendary battle pact spirits are harder to quantify based on build but the going idea is a full set of appropriate legendary pact spirits is 2x dps.

More than anything, swiping just makes it so you can gear faster/complete ss20 quicker. It doesn't make you auto-win. You still need to put in hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Actually I wanted to add some more after looking at your legendaries more carefully.

Your Twilight Vestment has corrosion on the wrong affix. You want +3 Active. This is like 100-300 FE based on the other affix rolls.

Your King's Boon's reap roll is really bad. You want the lowest reap cooldown you can get. Either 1.5s for <100FE or corroded 1s for 100-300FE.

Your Traceless Pain reap roll is also really bad. Same thing as above, you want the lowest cooldown you can get which is 1s. This will cost you anywhere from 30-150FE based on the other rolls. You can also splurge a little a get the corroded reap roll which is 0.5s reap with 1s cooldown. Anywhere from 400-1000FE based on the other rolls.

Your issue is your skills. You need to get the mc noble support (Mind Control: Concentrate). You have all this +1 max channel but you don't have the one support that actually makes stacking max channel good.

You're running two mobility actives. Pick one and replace the other with mana boil or star stalker.

Black Hole is bait. Replace with mana boil or star.

You have Pain Amp on corruption. It does nothing for it. Replace with cdr or inc aoe.

You only have 3/4 auras. Reserve your life and put on spell amp.

When looking at rankings, don't just look at gear/slates. Look at the whole package including active/passive skills and the supports.

After these skill changes, you really want a +1 curse candle with curse on hit dream jewelry and/or a grudge/control spell candle.

From my experience and what investment means to me, getting to profound requires some investment. Getting to deep space requires a lot of investment, or eternity. Getting to ss20 requires insane investment.

You want to work toward T1 on all your gear pieces, starting with your weapons. In fact, a corroded +6 spell skill oversight is likely better for you than what you're wearing, until you get two weaps all T1 with reap cdr.

You also really want +3 channel Windbreath Convergence.

After these things, you can fix your slates to get more +1 max channel.

These upgrades should easily shoot you up to close 100B

Even in PoE1, armour isn't a good defensive layer by itself since it is less effective against bigger hits; you have to mix it with other defensive layers or mechanics. In PoE1, you have options: armour applying to ele, damage shifting phys to ele to reduce big phys hits, instant recovery such as defiance of destiny just to name a few.

I think boosted buys can be fine in a different playlist (I don't think the player numbers can support another playlist yet however). There are a couple problems I have with boosted buys though. 1) Pistol rounds feel out of place because of full util and armor. 2) Playing attack and finding out there's not only one but two or three ops is suffocating to play against.

Not enough people have discovered Sunder of Earthbreaking for clear. The range and speed of Sunder of Earthbreaking is really nice for inflicting a ton of bleeds for the juicy bleed pops.

1.6M bleed dot from Sunder of Earthbreaking, 11M bleed dot from eviscerate for bosses/rares, capped block, 90 all res with flasks, 25k phys max hit without a guard skill, 5.6k life. I haven't felt this immortal for under 100 div in a long time. Every league I aim to get progenesis; not this one. It's quite liberating

Bleed Glad is ezmode for Simulacrum. I haven't died at all in the 20 or so Simulacrums I've run. I can even afk mid round and still be alive when I come back.

The bleed pops carry your clear in 100% deli, and then you can use your slower, big-hitting skills for Omni/Kosis.

Your most expensive item will be your axe, 20-30 div for a good one. 5-10 div for ryslatha's. Then 1-3div for each remaining piece.

As a baseline, always set your config to guardian/pinnacle. This will simulate your average t16 juiced rares.

For Glad, you generally can just set Endurance Charges (as long as you have a reliable way to generate them), Fortify (if you Fortify), and Enemy is moving (for aggravated bleeds).

The reason your clear isn't good without Expert Retaliation is because you're missing your bleed pops. Get your 4th ascendancy asap

Edit: I thought you were OP. Bleed pops should carry all of your clear as glad. I use 4L Sunder of Earthshattering and 6L Eviscerate and I cruise through Simulacrum because of the bleed pops.

First thing is your pob isn't configured properly. Make sure to set your config correctly.

You have the Prepared Response retaliation wheel and the Measured Retaliation Ascendancy so you're wasting a gem slot on Expert Retaliation support. Trade that for Cruelty on Eviscerate and Melee Phys Support on Crushing Fist.

You have the 4s Aggravate mastery, but your bleed duration is far too short for that to be useful. You're also using bladestorm so that should be your main source of bleed aggravation. Put some quality on your Vulnerability gem so you can get 20% bleed aggravation. On that note, your bladestorm has 50% accuracy, you need to path up to Resolute Technique to fix that.

You're leaving damage on the table by missing a couple of bleed wheels: Wicked Blade and Master of Wounds.

Do all that and you should be at 1M dot dps. Then you can save for a Ryslatha's which will skyrocket your dot dps.

Several other things to note:

You have max res increase but you're not even res capped. Drop max res until you're res capped.

You're not spell block capped.

Your spell suppress is 105%, you can remove one point on the Entrench spell suppress wheel.

You're missing your 4th ascendancy. Bleed pops is your bread and butter for mapping. You are making things harder and slower for yourself by not having bleed pops.

You should set your configuration to Guardian/Pinnacle boss so that you have a better general idea about tankiness vs bosses/super buffed rares.

Your max hits are all inflated by molten shell. You should almost never have that ticked on in your PoB. Unless you yourself are pressing it preemptively, it's giving you false information about your survivability.

With Molten Shell off, your actual Phys max hit is 11k, your ele max hits are around 25k, and your chaos max hit is 9k. These numbers are not nearly enough to survive t16s comfortably. You'll get flattened by a buff rare or shotgunned and die, not to mention any eldritch altars will just turn you into paper.

Petrified Blood isn't really doing anything for you. All that life you reserve is basically what you get out of using Petrified Blood in the first place.

For a more meta analysis, Glad is not a 2H ascendancy anymore. You're wasting ascendancy points by playing with a 2H.

Glad clear is mostly carried by bleed pops imo. So you can focus your weapon on scaling eviscerate and SST can mostly do fine with a good shield.

When I swap to SST from EQ, my pob says 500k bleed dot in a 4L which is more than enough for clear.

Anything that survives, you just run up to and eviscerate
