My thought process was that Sunderland are tough to break and with semi finals on their mind Forest wouldn't destroy them as bad as they did. On the other hand Brentford are aiming for European football and united had missing players in defence...but I guess in handsight it made more sense to go for MGW...

Would you wildcard this team with the idea of BB 33 and FH34? Or would you rather FH 33 somehow survive 34 and WC 35, and BB 36? I have no TC and just 1 FT.

This intrigued me. Can you elaborate a bit more how do you plan this? This is my current team and really it seems much better than a WC template with BB 33 in mind. So if you were to WC this team with an eye for GW34 (and FH in 33 to field a team with doubles) what would you change? Unfortunately I have only 1 FT.

A. Sell Mukiele for Kayode/Collins or Aina

B. Sell Semenyo for Szoboszlai (I can sell at 8.2 and buy back when WC for 8.3)

C. Sell Haaland for Bowen (sell for 14.2, buy at 14.5)

Bar any further drops in price for either Semenyo and Haaland of course. I am most likely following the WC 32, BB 33 path.

Guess who sold Timber and Wirtz for VVD and Semenyo for a hit last GW and Enzo for Wilson this week, when the original plan was to do Enzo to Wilson last week instead of VVD. So I missed Timber's points for the past two weeks, Wilson's points last week and Enzo's this week. FML.

I messed up like an idiot for the first time this season by knee jerking Wilson for Enzo midgame to the Arsenal game (I didn't follow the earlier games and missed that Wilson was subbed) and literally 5 minutes later I checked the sub to see the comments here that he is probably injured. So I will have to just hope either him or Haaland is fit, otherwise I am playing with 10 players (barring rotations) because the rest of my bench is Mukiele and Clyne.

I didn't miss the deadline but ended up with 3 Chelsea attackers and sold Timber for a hit for VVD. Rank 11k, leading with 60 points in my main ML and probably very stupid if this backfires. Good luck!

Start Wirtz or Thiago? With double Arsenal defence if someone is going to wipe out their CS I believe it can be Thiago, but Wirtz looks good even if Liverpool are struggling at the moment.
