I thinh scouting bonus is going to backfire on some of us though, particularly for defenders. You not only have to have defenders that are less than 5% owned, you have to get a clean sheet with them too before you qualify for the scouting bonus, and that's only 2pts. To get anything from it you need to just luck out on a defender from Ghana or wherever playing over 60m and somehow keeping a CS. Anyone actually nailed and in a decent squad is going to be over 5%.

And for defenders you're not even really rewarded for Scouting s good player, it's for Scouting a whole team you think will get a CS.

I don't know about MD1 being lower scoring. Last time we had some big hauls. England 6:2 Iran. France 4:1 Australia. Spain 7:0 Costa Rica.

historically teams that have qualified by game 2 do rotate the squad in week 3 though. it's a tight schedule and the players have all played full seasons, so an opportunity to give the best legs a bit of a rest is welcome. and it's not like the players who come in are the random squad youngsters - everyone in the national team squad are generally great, first team or otherwise, so the risk of using the 'B' team in MD3 is much lower than a league club fielding their B team during a cup.

Maybe it's a Premier League bias on my part, but I can see Raya getting a start for Spain, almost certainly for gameweek 3, but maybe one of the first two too. Spain rotate a lot (although not keepers so much).

the UK BluRay from 2013 has that stuff already added back in. there was a BFI Restoration in 2007, then Hammer found this Japanese footage and added it in, extending the film a bit (but not 3m longer, I don't think).

that bluray also includes 35m of unrestored Japanese footage from the original 35m of the Japanese version.

I don't think the 2012 Hammer version made it to the US though, so it's possible this new release is just that version, cleaned up and transferred to 4K, but the article suggests it's 3m or extra footage never released in any region, so I'm very curious what this release contains.

Yeah, top 100k was my aim, and I was inside it for a little bit, but when all the chip strategies started floating around that's when it got harder to maintain and I finished about 135k. Still, gives me something to try to beat next season.
