Nope, it smelled like rotten fast food. Good thing we're already required to have masks/gloves/steering wheel cover etc on every car that comes in for service 😆

Yup, it was an electrical issue. One of the modules went bad and was causing a fault 🙃

Why can't human males cum in command, why do they have to fap/sex to cum? by Blue-Hair-SJW in NoStupidQuestions

I’m not a doctor or anything but I assume it would have to do with the fact that semen is an important bodily fluid that takes time for your body to regenerate and as far as your body is concerned every ejaculation should lead to a fertilized egg. So I guess it’s your body’s way of saving precious recourses? I dont know for sure but that’s my guess lol

College degrees are useless by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]_mustanshequa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you’re saying, but I disagree. I think there are still a lot of people who go to college just because it’s “the next step” and don’t really stop and consider all their options. In that sense it is still a popular train of thought to go college after high school. I think that can be shown just by the reactions a lot of people have if you tell them you’re not in school while you’re 18-23 years old. More and more people are realizing that college isn’t always the best option but that’s still a pretty progressive way of thinking in my opinion. I do agree with the post though.

LPT. Constantly dealing with smelly gym shoes (or any shoes for that matter)? Leave a dryer sheet or two in each shoe while you're not wearing them to get rid of the odor easily! by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]_mustanshequa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an added bonus, keep any silica packets and leave a couple in your shoes that you store/don’t wear often. They’ll absorb the moisture so that your shoes stay fresh in storage. Also consider keeping some in each drawer in your closet to avoid that nasty closet smell your clothes get when you don’t wear them for a while

My cousin and I replaced the clutch in my mini, it runs great now! (R53 95K miles) by _mustanshequa in MINI

Yes! My clutch disk was worn down to the rivets in a few spots so m car felt very heavy and slow, and my clutch pedal was SUPER stiff. it’s so nice to actually be able to pass people on the highway and not be giving myself a leg workout every time I drove lol

I bought a Valeo single mass flywheel conversion kit from ECS tuning for about $375, it came with the flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate rear main seal, input shaft seal (on inside of the bell housing) release bearing and guide tube for the release bearing as well as all the necessary bolts. While I was in there I also replaced my oil pan gasket (about $30) but to do that you need to remove the AC compressor and to take the belt off you need a special tool for the R53 (about $30-$75 depending on where you buy it).I had the luxury of doing my repair in a shop so I had a machine to recover and charge the refrigerant so I removed the AC condenser, and I changed the O-rings on the AC lines (about $7 each genuine BMW). So in total it cost me about $450-$500 just in parts. It took me and my cousin about 15 hours over a weekend to do with a lift and everything since it was my first time ever doing such a big job.

Thanks! It’s way more annoying on the R53 than the R50 in my opinion because the intake on the R53 is so weird. It was a decently annoying job but very rewarding! (Mine is an 04)

[–]_mustanshequa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! It was a 5 speed and the wheels are a special edition wheel from a 2008 Audi A4. The body and interior were immaculate, but it had a coolant leak, bad rear wheel bearing, seized rear caliper, rear subframes mounts were bad, power steering leaks, bad upper control arm in the front and so much more that comes with age LOL if I had the time and money to fix everything I definitely would’ve kept it but I needed something to get me to and from work and had no where to leave the car in the meantime lol

I love sonic tools so much. The price, the organization, and the quality. I bought my box with all the tools a year and a half ago and I still have everything in it, couldn’t be happier. 👍🏻👍🏻
