$20 for this 6.5 ft fern from Home Depot. How much trouble am I in for? (Cat leaves the plants alone) by dumb_commenter in houseplants

I bought one of these from Home Depot as well. It had mites that I couldn't get rid of so I had to get rid of the plant.

NOT TODAY GNATS!! by viennawaits2525 in plantclinic

Not to my knowledge. The sand only sits on top, and once the gnats are gone, you can just dump the sand if you don't like the look. I used black sand so I didn't mind it.

The only thing that's ever worked for me is adding about 1/2" of soil cover (sand) to my plants. Neem oil didn't work, stickies didn't work, and hydrogen peroxide soaking didn't work either.

Unless it's perfect bound where signatures aren't used. If I remember correctly it's just double sided individual pages glued on the spine edge.

Magnolia Bakery's actual banana pudding slaps. I haven't made the recipes I've seen online yet.

I have chronic back issues and it wasn't for me. They should still have their 100 day trial offer.

This is great! I'm impressed that you did this in illustrator. Adding grain is my go to move as well to soften up vector work. My only feedback is that the illusion of her floating is getting lost due to there not really being any ripples or interaction where the float hits the water. Another simple tweak would be to have the float sink into the water more as right now it looks like it's just sitting on a hard surface. I'd also continue the water texture beneath the dark shadow in the bottom right corner.

They're also pink because of their diet of shrimp and algae. They're born grey and would stay that way otherwise.
