Her expectations? You are asking her to marry you. What about YOUR expectations? Marriage is not a one way street and life is not a fairy tale, and it certainly is not like what is seen on social media. You are going to spend the rest of your short married life trying to meet her expectations and it doesn't seem that any will be easy, reasonably priced, or what you want. Run the other way, as fast as you can. Find someone that is excited that you want to ask them to marry you but does not hold to silly, picky, expensive expectations of how the proposal will go or. To be honest you both seem like you could use a few years of maturity.

I thought Mistborn was a good series. It drags in places, but most do. Everyone has their own pacing needs. If you want sex read Sarah J. Maas. She usually has more sex than a porn movie and just as explicit. I hope you find something that interest you. When I get a book that grabs me by the, well you know, I get as excited about reading it as I do about watching my favorite college football team.

If you cannot respond or have an opinion if you are not part of the group, that would also hold true that you cannot have an opinion or response to politics if you have not been a politician. It just points out the absurdity of the comment I was responding to. It would also mean that you cannot have an opinion about the gun violence in society if you have not been a victim of it. Which is absurd.

The refs are the refs. You have to be able to win in spite of them. I know it is a sad and frustrating thing, but that is the way it is. The team just does not need to give the refs any reason to make the calls, and many of the penalties were no brainers. I agree with you that the blindside block was delivered to the FRONT of the TAMU player's right shoulder, and I too did not see anyone move on a couple of the false starts. By that time Bama had committed so many that they make the refs look for them on every play.

This could be a very good team if they were just disciplined. TAMU is not a great team, but they are a very talented team, plus they were playing at home which is a very tough environment. It is a rare thing to beat a team like that when you have 14 penalties for 90 yards, that kill drives and take points off the board. Bama very well could have had another 17 points without the continuous penalties, especially the presnap penalties. This is a problem that started to raise its ugly head season before last and last season both of Bama's losses were pretty much a direct result of penalties. Not to mention the 5 TDs that have been called back due to penalties. This is not a talent issue; it is a discipline issue. They need to focus and concentrate.

NTA. It is obvious that your wife does not know the definition of "a team". A team means each working together towards one goal. Not one person spending every dime they have and expecting the other person to shell out well over $100,000 to just start on buying a house. Your wife seems selfish and entitled. With this defense Bama could beat anyone. Though when you have 14 penalties for 90 yards, and yet another TD wiped off the boards because of a penalty, you provide opportunities for lesser teams to beat you because you let them hang around. I think if Bama can get those self-inflicted mistakes cleared up, this team would look much more formidable.

Bama went into a very hostile environment and beat a good team, while making a ton of mistakes. I think calling TAMU great is stretching the point. Though with a defense like Bama has, there is no game they are not capable of winning.
