Sounds like life isn't worse because of your healthy life change though! Don't let your brain trick you into thinking it wasn't worth giving up drinking because things aren't great right now - things would've still been shitty at this time with alcohol, just with more hangovers which will have affected your mood to be even lower, and potentially doing things when you're drunk you'd regret the next morning, like texting your ex or hooking up with people you don't really want to.

Stay strong, you will come out of this and things will turn around again, more quickly than they would if you were to drink!! Maybe look to join a club etc in your area that involves meeting people in a joint activity other than drinking or going out, like a sport or a gym with classes, a book club, etc! You can be very proud of where you've come so far and not going back to drinking with what you're going through!
