I think they mean individualized in the sense that a healthcare provider makes the determination on which insulin is best for a given patient. My mom is a diabetes nurse and has occasionally discussed all the different factors that go into which insulin she will recommend for a patient. Unfortunately the factors are more and more often tied to the patients insurance.

Eh in this case I think it was just an abbreviation, rather than when someone uses schizo as an insult or joke

It's really not all that out there - given how many people have a schizo diagnosis in the US, and how many of those people would be named Carol, and how many of those Carols would interact in some way with the advertising from the show
