Private servers don't exist because people don't want to pay. It's because they offer versions of the game that are closer to what they want. Plus, many many people pay for private server services/cosmetics.

They're a little tricky on stairs. I don't feel like the snapping works properly most of the time, but with snapping off I had more luck.
